The Astro-Ethereal

This body of work uses ideas from the contemporary philosopher Federico Campagna who asserts that reality is contingent and open to self-determination. He seeks to unravel our current reality settings and proposes magic as a co-existing mirror world and this body of work acts as a portal into this liminal realm. These paintings uses spectral figuration linked to the symbolism of tarot cards to create forms that emerge from the canvas, permitting the viewer a glimpse into this other dimension.
