Aislinn Connolly is a Gadigal/Sydney-based artist and a graduate of the National Art School. She blends scholarly enquiry with field research to investigate how magic is being redefined in contemporary art and moving away from historical marginalisation. She uses magic as a platform to create artworks that engage with alternative cosmologies, speculative imagination and ancestral memories to hint at paradigms beyond the dominant worldview.
